Stretch your AI brain — and have FUN! These activities put everything you have read into practice: a crossword, a “smart or not smart?” game, designing your own robot, and matching each friend to the AI they used.

Activity 1 — AI Crossword

Solve and write the words. Hint: all are AI words from this book!

Across: 1. A repeating idea AI finds in data (7). 3. A step-by-step recipe for a computer (9). 5. A machine that can move and lift (5).
Down: 2. The fuel of AI (4). 4. Sound from your mouth (5). 6. AI’s main study method (2 words).

Activity 2 — Smart or Not Smart?

Write ‘AI’ next to things that use AI, and ‘NO’ next to things that do not: ceiling fan, Google Maps, voice search on phone, cooking gas stove, pencil sharpener, YouTube video suggestions, photo unlock on mobile, smart speaker, cycle, old-style door bell.
